Gregor Fuchs is born in 1996 in Austria. He studied drawing and printmaking at the University of Applied Arts, Vienna, where he also functioned as student assistant at the lithography department
The works by Gregor Fuchs is dealing with relationships between people among themselves as well as between people and objects. By picturing scenes from everyday life, mostly set in familiar and intimate places, Fuchs is interested in reflecting on habits and conventions, on rules and agreements.
His stories are rarely obvious. Therefore he is hiding motives and use intentional omissions as ways of referring to concealments and non-verbal communication structures within relationships.
